Wealthy Mexicans' border games raise questions

A tourist spot in Mexico that shows people what its like to cross the border. People spent a night as an illegal immigrants that cross the Rio Grande. Some people say that it is good that it raises awarness about immigration. And then other people say that it is not exactly true and it is only about 10 percent of what really happens when immigrants are crossing the border.

"Stocks turn up, energy offsets Bernanke jitters"
U.S. stocks were higher on Friday, helped by gains in energy company shares and relief that remarks by Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke didn't get new worries about the economy and interest rates.

* Should a defense attorney work for a client he believes to be guilty?
It depends if the attorney just wants to make money or if he believes in justice. If he believes in justice, he would not represent him because he would want him to go to jail. But if he just wanted his money & did not care aobut society he would represent him and try to get his money.

* Should a secretary keep quiet about a supervisor who adds personal expenses to business-expense reimbursement claims?
The secretary shouldn't keep quiet because its wrong. But he most likely would keep quiet because we would want to keep his job so he could have a living.

"Apple recalls 1.8 million batteries Overheating said to cause minor burns from laptops."

Apple Computer Inc. recalled 1.8 million batteries found in its older laptop computers after receiving reports that they overheated and caused damage and minor burns.
This anouncment came a week after Dell recalled 4.1 million batteries because of similar reports. The lithium-ion batteries, manufactured by Sony, threatened to catch on fire. Dell's is the largest and Apple's the second-largest computer or electronics recall. More people are turning to laptops instead of desktop computers so laptops are becoming more advanced. Inside the computers they are putting in faster processors and wireless connections to the Internet. But the technology of the batteries have not advanced.

Your first post is to write a page analyzing how computers have changed business over the past decade and how you expect them to change business over the next ten years. If you wish you can extend the time period to as far as you like.

------

Computers have changed business over the past decade because computers have made things easier to do everyday functions. There are different computers to do different things according to your job. You can communicate easier by e-mail and instant messenger. When you are working on like papers something there is a lesser possibility of messing something up or spelling a word wrong so things will be more accurate. You can do math related problems on the computer and wrong. You can do many things very fast unlike ten years ago it would of been very slow to do anything. When computers were first invented, they took up a whole room. Now they take up almost half of a desk and they are going to just keep getting smaller & faster.

If computers keep on changing at the rate that they do, in the next ten years I expect them to change business by doing most of the work for people. Computers will probably be the size of a cd players. They will make it much easier for people to do their job. Computers will not miss a deadline. They will most likely be error proof. Maybe, you can have meetings over the internet with a webcam if your sick at home so you wont miss the meeting and it'll be almost like your really there. You could probably work from home if your a stay at home mom or you just dont want to leave the house. Who knows what computers will be able to do in the future or how they'll look, or how fast they'll go. But it is just going to become more advanced & make it easier for people to do things.
